Fall Apart Tender Slow Roast Pork

Crockpot alert! This pork is sensational, and is a great example of using a cheap piece of meat to create a fantastic dish. I use the pork shoulder with the bone in, and I don't tie the roast. I found that when it cooks, it stays pretty much together until you lift it out, but even if it doesn't, you serve it in the juice anyway.

One thing, this is sweet. I might play with it a little -- unsweetened apple juice, less brown sugar, something. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

Ingredients:

1 pork butt roast (about 4 pounds)
1/4 to 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 cup apple juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Set crock pot on high for 30 minutes. Then put pork in crock pot, and sprinkle on all sides with Worcestershire sauce. Press brown sugar onto all sideds of the pork. Pour apple juice down the sided of the crock pot, being careful not to pour on the crusted pork. Cover tightly, and cook 8-10 hours on LOW.

Pull the meat apart and remove the bone. Stir the salt into the juices at the bottom of the crock.
Serve meat in its juice hot or at room temperature.
