Better Than Sex Cake

aka BTS Cake as my mormon friends call it.
A group of my basketball friends made this cake for me this past weekend, for my birthday, and OH MY GOD!! It's awesome!! Must love chocolate and caramel!



1 box devils food cake mix
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
6 oz (or more) caramel ice cream topping (can also use fudge or butterscotch as well)
a couple Heath bars, to crumble for garnish
1 tub of Cool Whip.


Bake cake as directed on box in 9 x 13 pan. Once cake is done, let it cool for about 5 mins and then make slits across the top of the cake with a knife (don't cut all the way through to the bottom)

In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping, stirring until smooth and blended. Slowly pour the warm topping mixture over the top of the warm cake, letting it sink into the slits.

Let cake cool completely before speading the Cool Whip over the top. Sprinkle with the Heath Bar crumbles.
