Pineapple Upside-down Cake

Looking for a quick and easy dessert? This is it.

I was expecting last minute dinner guests in 2 hours so what's for dessert?

1 box of yellow or white cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple
1 can sliced peaches
Butter
Brown Sugar

Make the cake mix according to the directions, except substitute applesauce for the oil (if required), and the juice from the canned fruit, for the water.

Melt butter in each of 2 cake pans and then add brown sugar to cover the bottom.

Add the pineapple and, if desired, the peaches to the pans. (I also add some maraschino cherries for interest.) Pour batter slowly over the fruit in the pans and bake.

When baking is finished (may take longer than directions indicate), place plate over the pan and invert.

Voila!
