Ingredients:
2 lbs of veal cubed
4-6 red and/or green peppers
1 Vidalia onion
1 can of crushed tomatoes
1 small (8 oz) can of tomato sauce- this is optional depending on how much juice you like, we are dunkers in our house so we like lots
fresh garlic
S&P
olive oil
splash of red wine (optional)
Directions:
- saute a few cloves of chopped garlic along with chopped onion in olive oil
- add meat. Salt and pepper, cook till brown
- Add chopped peppers, S&P, cook about 5 minutes
- add splash of red wine, crushed tomatoes, and can of sauce. S&P, stir
- cook about 30 minutes or until sauce thickens
- serve and enjoy!
